- A hole is drilled through the mortar joint in every vertical
column of blocks (every eight inches).
-
Tailored Foam, resembling shaving cream in texture, is pressure
injected directly into each vertical column. Taking the path
of least resistance, the foam travels to the top, bottom and
sides of each column until it is filled completely.
-
Continued
pressure forces the foam horizontally through the web joint
into the adjacent cells. This procedure which is repeated in
every column of cells, produces a wall that is filled and sealed
completely.
-
The
high pressure forces Tailored Foam through even the tiniest
voids in the masonry. This forces little "noodles"
all over the wall-inside and out- showing clearly that the wall
is thoroughly sealed.
- The walls are then broom-cleaned and the holes are patched
with mortar. Great care is taken in the final cleanup as all excess
foam is swept and removed from the floor.
