If
you are living in an existing home, are you doomed forever to suffer
from high energy costs, drafty rooms, hot and cold spots, and mold/mildew
issues?
No. Recent advancements in our installation techniques have made
it possible to insulate existing homes, even older homes. By drilling
through the block walls, whether they are painted block or stucco,
we can inject our foam insulation directly from the outside of the
house.
If
your house is more than a few years old, it was built when the solution
to comfort was to make bigger air conditioners. In fact, if your
house was built before 1990, only drywall and concrete block separate
you from the elements. Minimal insulation values were not even required
by the building codes until then. Energy was thought to be cheap
and inexhaustible. We know better now! But saving energy is only
part of the story. Porous block walls that allow unwanted air inside
the house also allow all of the germs, pollen, mold spores and moisture
that come with it.

Dogs barking, landscaping crews, traffic
noises and neighbors all can add up to irritation and stress. Tailored
Foam is recognized by commercial architects as being the most
effective sound insulation available today.

Energy
experts estimate that if you could put all the air leaks
in the typical home together, you would have a hole
the size of a basketball. These holes allow expensive,
clean dehumidified air to leak out, and raw outside
air to take its place.
Tailored Foam builds an "envelope"
around your house to help prevent this from occurring.
Even if your home is already
built - comfort can still be an option!
